Versatile enough to be used as either a gravity-fed or pumped version. The SuperDrum L drum filter cleans your pond thoroughly, reliably and fully automatically. It has a capacity of up to 50 m³/hour and a standard mesh size of 120 micrometres, and is designed for koi ponds up to 80 m³ and garden ponds up to 100 m³.
A water level sensor measures whether sufficient water is flowing through the drum. If the drum screen becomes too dirty, a flushing cycle is automatically initiated. The filtered-out debris is removed from the screen fully automatically by the high-pressure pump and discharged into the mains drainage system via the nozzles and a flushing channel.
As the water is filtered through the drum, particles larger than 120 µ are filtered out. An optionally available UV-C lamp can also be used to effectively combat floating algae.
The low maintenance costs of a drum filter are a major advantage. It requires only purified pond water for the flushing process and no consumables such as filter fleece. Instead, contaminants are reliably removed from the system by the robust drum lining with 120μ mesh.
The filter can be used for pump-fed operation as well as for gravity-fed installation.
The removable lid allows easy access to the interior of the filter.
