Aqua Dry Instant bacteria are freeze-dried and become active immediately upon contact with water and oxygen. Immediately after being added to the pond or filter, the bacteria multiply explosively, so that the desired effect occurs within 12-36 hours. Aqua Dry Instant bacteria become active at water temperatures above 10°C. They are ideal for activating a pond after winter or recultivating a filter that has been impaired by heavy use of medication. However, if medication has been used, the medication residues must first be filtered out by means of extensive water changes or activated carbon. Aqua Dry Instant bacteria can be stored sealed and dry for 3 years, so you can easily order larger containers and use the necessary dosage as required.
The specified quantity is calculated to be optimal. If the dosage is too low, the optimal level of effectiveness will not be achieved. When used optimally, you will immediately notice that the specified pollutants are almost undetectable. Of course, not all 132 bacterial strains can develop evenly, so some will be displaced. A repeat dosage will restore the previous level.

Please enter the amount required for your pond size. The Aqua Dry Instant bacteria are added to the filter on the Japanese mats or foam. Switch off UV and ozone systems for 24 hours after adding the bacteria.
Dosage:
Initial dosage: When starting the filter and in spring, add 6 measuring spoons per 10,000 litres of water.
Follow-up dosage: 4 measuring spoons per 10,000 litres of pond water once a week/month.
1 measuring spoon corresponds to 5 ml.
When using with sturgeon in the pond, please aerate sufficiently, as the oxygen content decreases immediately after adding filter bacteria due to the immediate activity of the bacteria.
