AquaForte Mr. Perfect is a revolution in pool heat pumps. Compared to other inverter heat pumps, the AquaForte Mr. Perfect features Inverpad Turbo fan technology. This is the quietest (38.4 dB) and most energy-efficient solution for the swimming pool industry. The heat pump has a very modern design and is made of high-quality aluminium for a long service life.
Frost protection with thermal bands
AquaForte Mr Perfect heat pumps are equipped with 2 thermal bands to prevent damage to the heat
pump in cold temperatures – this serves to protect the compressor. Activated at an ambient temperature of +/- 8°C when the compressor is switched off at that moment. The thermal strip switches off again when the compressor switches on or when the ambient temperature rises
above +/- 8°C.Protection of the evaporator. This improves the drainage of melt water and prevents ice formation around the heat pump. It also speeds up the defrost function. Activated when the compressor has been running continuously for 20 minutes and the outside temperature in heating mode is +/- 0°C. Activated when the defrost function is in operation. The theme band switches off again when the temperature rises above this value.
The heat exchanger is also protected against frost. If the water inlet temperature is 2°C and the ambient temperature is 0°C, the heat pump starts automatically in heating mode. When the water temperature is 15°C or the ambient temperature is 1°C, the heat pump switches back to standby mode. This function only works when the heat pump is supplied with power and the pool pump is also supplying power. If there is no flow through the heat pump, an E3 message appears and the heat pump switches off. To protect the heat exchanger from frost damage, it is therefore necessary to ensure that water always flows through the heat pump in frosty conditions.
AquaForte Mr Perfect heat pumps are equipped with a modern touchscreen and come with a WiFi module as standard, which allows the heat pump to be controlled remotely via an app (iOS & Android). The AquaForte Mr Perfect draws its air from the rear of the heat pump. The cold air is blown out again at the sides. The AquaForte Mr Perfect has a special connection for coupling with an external control unit (Astral Elite / Sugar Valley). The controller sends a signal to the heat pump to switch it on and off. This means that the heat pump always remains powered, so that it can always be cooled down.

These heat pumps are designed for use with clean pool water.
When using them with ponds, the following should be noted:
Efficiency:
- The heat pumps are only efficient at water temperatures above 15°C. If you want to extend the pond season by three months or heat your pond to above 20°C in summer because your pond is in full shade (difference 3-4°C), these heat pumps are ideal for you.
- Lowest adjustable heating temperature: 18°C, adjustable cooling temperature: 12 - 30°C
- To achieve high efficiency, the pond must be professionally covered, not with thin bubble wrap or pond balls.
- If you want to use the devices on the pond, oversize them. One size larger, possibly two sizes larger if the insulation is poor.
Installation:
- The heat pumps must be supplied with clean water. It is advisable to use a drum or paper filter.
- If the devices are fed with pond water, any biofilm that forms in the device must be cleaned.
- Installation is only easy with gravity filters. In pumped systems, a separate pump must pump the water through the heat pump after mechanical cleaning and feed it back in before the biological filter.
- The heat pumps can be used with salt. They can be used with electrolysis systems with 1.5 to 3 grams of salt per litre.
- The devices are delivered without plugs and must be installed by an electrician.
