The double air chamber structure produces large volumes of air at high air pressure. It can be operated continuously and continuously.
The air pump comes with a 90° adapter hose with 2 hose holder seals. The Dong Yang delivers consistently good performance and air flow even at great depths.
Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Air pumps must always be protected from the weather.
- It is also important that they are not exposed to excessively high (+40°C) or low (below 5°C) temperatures, as well as humidity (filter shaft/chamber). This leads to rapid wear and tear and even defects
- They should also not be too far away (we recommend max. 2 to 4 metres) from the pond
- Please note that they take in air from the surrounding area and feed it into the pond. In winter, this could mean that you cool down your pond without meaning to.
- If possible, they should also be positioned above the waterline. If this is not the case, please use non-return valves. If water enters the pump, this is not covered by the warranty.
- The label normally indicates the litres of air per minute that the pump discharges. Sufficient and/or suitable air diffusers must also be used in this regard.
- We recommend 9 mm or 16 mm air hose to ensure that the pump works efficiently (from 80 litres/minute, 16 mm air hose can already be used).

A Dong Yang 40 generates 40 litres of air per minute. In this case, diffusers should be selected that also allow 40 litres of air per minute to flow out.
Air that does not flow out has a wearing effect on the membranes.
Wear occurs, for example
- if the wrong diffusers are selected,
- if the diffusers are not cleaned and become clogged over time,
- air regulation by means of an air valve,
- air hoses that are too small,
- dirty air filters,
- normal wear and tear, etc.
With this air pump, the aerators can be suspended at a water depth of 2 metres.
We recommend the following diffusers:
- 3-4 x Angel Aqua diffusers 22 x 4 cm (9 mm air hose) - approx. 10-13 l/min output per diffuser
- 4 x aeration rod-30 cm connection 16 mm (16 mm air hose) - approx. 15 l/min outflow per diffuser
