Sometimes the existing biology in a filter is not sufficient, or you may decide to overstock your pond. If you cannot or do not want to use a larger filter, it is advisable to expand the biology. Genesis offers ready-made chambers. A trickle plate is inserted at the top and bottom of these chambers. The upper trickle plate ensures that the inflowing water is distributed evenly. The lower plate prevents the filter medium from flowing out into the pond. The biochambers can be filled with any filter material. It is best to use a medium that does not clog quickly, e.g. Hel-X® or Siporax®. The inlets and outlets can be freely selected and are included in the price (as long as the quantity is reasonable). The Hel-X® content is included in the price.
