These ball valves are better made than the Economy series with red handles. The ball can also be adjusted more easily.

A ball valve is used wherever precise dosing is required. The setting on a ball valve is not affected by water pressure, which can happen with a gate valve.

However, ball valves are more commonly used for smaller pipe diameters; gate valves are more suitable for 110 mm pipes. Due to the high water resistance, it is not so easy to open large ball valves.

The specified thread on the ball valve only fits the ball valve itself and cannot be connected to other fittings with internal threads.
