The feed is composed of the finest ingredients, using only high-quality fish meal, vegetable proteins, fish oils and blood products. Together with the higher oil content and the resulting higher energy content, this leads to excellent growth rates. If you keep sturgeons, you are familiar with the problems that arise when sturgeons and koi are kept together.
For anyone who is new to this decision, we ask you to consider the following: A sturgeon does not really belong in a pond, as it is a migratory fish. In nature, sturgeons grow up in very good oxygen conditions and other water conditions. In a pond, a sturgeon is a difficult neighbour, especially if there are koi present. It disturbs your koi throughout the winter, as it does not hibernate. In many ponds, it outgrows its surroundings due to its immense size. You have to be careful with many medications, as they are designed for koi, but not for sturgeon. In addition, a sturgeon in a pond always lives at the minimum in terms of oxygen uptake. Even the smallest changes to the water and the addition of filter bacteria, algae agents or similar can alter your water parameters and oxygen levels so significantly that it harms the sturgeon.

GMO-free raw materials:
All raw materials in Stör feed are produced from GMO-free raw materials (GMO-free Proforest soy). The manufacturer uses only GMO-free raw materials in its operations. Long-term contracts between the feed manufacturer and the raw material producers and suppliers guarantee that GMO-free raw materials are always available in sufficient quantities.
Fish meal and fish oil from sustainable production (organic certified): Only fish meal and fish oil
from sustainable production are used. This involves using by-products from the processing of fish that have been caught exclusively for human consumption and whose catch quotas are set by binding European Union guidelines. The problematic and frowned-upon fish meal from so-called rotten fishing is not used in Stör products. This conserves resources and prevents overfishing of the world's oceans.
