The Venturi principle is an effective method of aerating ponds, whereby air is introduced into the return pipe to the pond and mixed with the water.

Venturi nozzles are based on the physical principle of the Venturi effect. This effect occurs when water flows through a narrowed nozzle. The narrowing creates a vacuum that draws in air and mixes it with the water.

The Venturi nozzles are integrated into the return pipe to the pond. This can be done, for example, at a point where the water flows back into the pond. The Venturi nozzles can be integrated relatively easily into existing return pipes without the need for complex modifications.
