We offer pool filter sets for small above-ground pools and larger pools with a water volume of up to 40m³.
The AquaForte EZ Clean sets already include the Aqualoon filter balls filter medium and are therefore ready for immediate use as plug-and-play devices.
For the other filter sets, the filter material, such as sand or filter glass, must be purchased separately.
Pool filter sets Information and tips
Initial check and location selection
You have purchased a technical device that is easy and straightforward to use. Nevertheless, certain precautions must be observed. Please always read the operating instructions first and check all parts for damage. We accept no liability for transport damage to parts that have already been assembled.
When choosing a location, make sure it is easily accessible. When installing the filter system in enclosed spaces, a sufficiently dimensioned floor drain and adequate ventilation are mandatory. If there is no floor drain, a layer of gravel at least 50 cm thick is required so that water can drain away in the event of a fault and cannot rise to the pump.
Place the filter tank on a level surface and ensure that the drain valve is in a suitable position. If the filter system is installed below the water level, the supply and inlet pipes should be fitted with a ball valve, shut-off valve or non-return valve. These are very advantageous, e.g. for maintenance work, changing the sand when the pool is full or when installing the filter system above the water level.
Filter systems must not run dry (without water) as the pumps are water-cooled. This means that the water flowing through cools the pump.
TIP
We recommend filtering for 8–12 hours per day so that your pool water is completely circulated at least twice.
If possible, backwash once a week. This cleans the filter sand in the tank and removes dirt from the filter sand. If the filter sand is dirty, the pressure in the filter tank increases and the pressure gauge reading rises by approx. 0.3 - 0.4 bar. This indicates that backwashing and rinsing should be carried out.
Winter storage
To ensure that your filter system survives the winter months, all pipes and hoses that are not frost-proof should be completely emptied. To completely empty the filter, open the drain valve on the side and allow the filter to empty completely. The drain plug on the pump housing should also be opened. To prevent frost damage, the filter system should be stored in a frost-proof room during the cold season.
If you follow the above instructions, nothing will stand in the way of your summer fun and you will be able to enjoy your filter system for a long time to come.
