The intake basket protects the impeller of your EVO Blue Stream when used in ponds.
The suction basket protects your pump from algae, stones or other stubborn dirt particles. The suction basket is made of stainless steel, which means it can be cleaned with a high-pressure cleaner. The baskets can be easily mounted on the corresponding EVO Blue/Flow Stream pump thanks to the attached thread. Please use the following

The corresponding suction basket fits directly onto the respective Genesis Blue/Flow Stream pump.
When using the suction basket with other types of pond pumps, a coupling can be used as a connecting piece.
The front connection part of the couplings fits into the thread of the basket with its external thread.
