Super Tab comes in its original packaging with 12 individually wrapped tablets, including a very comprehensive instruction manual. For subsequent orders, you will receive tablets in economical bulk packaging (without the instruction manual).

SuperTab contains the oxidising agent chlorine dioxide (CLO2) in tablet form. This is a completely new development that makes this product very easy to use. Chlorine dioxide (not to be confused with chlorine!) is a relatively weak oxidant. Therefore, it may be used freely in certain concentrations in drinking water as well as in ponds or pools colonised by living animals/organisms. Chlorine dioxide has been known for almost 200 years. It was discovered in 1814 by Humphrey Davy. This unique oxidising agent can be used extremely effectively against viruses, mould and pathogenic bacteria even at very low concentrations. Anaerobic bacteria cannot build up resistance to chlorine dioxide because their cell structure is destroyed. Chlorine dioxide is a very selective oxidising agent and reacts primarily with organic substances. It does not produce any (harmful) residual products. Only a very small amount of chloride (such as table salt) remains after use. Chlorine dioxide is odourless in low concentrations in water, unlike chlorine, for example. The biggest advantage of chlorine dioxide compared to other oxidants (hydrogen peroxide, ozone and chlorine) is its low oxidation power combined with a high oxidation capacity. Chlorine dioxide is often used in the production of drinking water, food processing and storage, fruit growing and the meat processing industry.
Thanks to these properties, SuperTab is very well suited for use in aquaculture.
In practice, the effect of chlorine dioxide becomes increasingly apparent with prolonged use:
- fewer bacterial problems
- walls and pipes become visibly cleaner
- fresher smell of the water
- significantly increased activity of the fish

One SuperTab is sufficient for 50,000 litres of pond water. Weekly addition is recommended, as the product is gradually used up. At this dosage, the concentration is 0.04 mg/l.
Bacterial pressure is greatly reduced without any negative effects on biology and aquaculture.
At higher concentrations (from 0.1 mg/l to 0.5 mg/l), chlorine dioxide can greatly reduce and/or completely eliminate bacterial problems in fish. The German drinking water standard (TrinkwV2001) allows a concentration of 0.4 mg/l chlorine dioxide in drinking water.

Start of use and maintenance during the season:
The bacterial pressure in ponds must not be allowed to increase and must be constantly monitored. A concentration of 0.04 mg/l in the pond is recommended for maintenance doses. This means 1 SuperTab per 50,000 litres of water. If your pond holds 10,000 litres, you can dissolve 1 SuperTab in a 1-litre canister and then add 200 ml to the pond. The solution can be stored for 6 to 8 weeks if kept in a cool, dark place.
Especially when the organic load is very high (e.g. when using the product for the first time), the added amount is used up quite quickly. In this case, a dose should be added every other day, 4 times in a row. After prolonged use, not only does the bacterial pressure decrease, but the walls are also increasingly freed of organic material. Your pond will gradually become visibly cleaner.
High bacterial pressure:
If the bacterial pressure in the pond is very high, the dosage must be increased to 1 SuperTab per 20,000 litres or even 1 SuperTab per 10,000 litres. If this dosage is repeated daily for a week, the bacterial pressure will decrease dramatically.
(Swimming) ponds without fish:
For swimming ponds without fish, a higher dosage of 0.08 to 0.1 mg/l is recommended. The product does not develop a chlorine odour and is therefore ideal for significantly reducing bacterial pressure. After a while, a layer of sludge forms in swimming ponds. As a result, the bacterial pressure in the water is often much too high. High bacterial pressure in swimming water is harmful to health. Chlorine dioxide has no negative effects on plants in low concentrations. SuperTab also reduces the typical swimming pond odour. The water smells noticeably fresher when SuperTab is used. Always
read the user manual before use!
Be careful when using salt. Salt can increase the effect. We advise against simultaneous use.
