It has never been easier to grow crisp lettuce in all varieties, fresh herbs and much more in your own raised bed. The sometimes tedious daily watering is no longer necessary, nutrients in the pond are broken down by the plants and converted into rapid growth. Unsightly algae growth in the pond is reduced.
How does it work?
The Rieselfelder verde is simply integrated into the water cycle of the pond filter system.
A small, energy-saving pump (not included) mechanically pumps pre-cleaned pond water into the verde Rieselfilterbeet.
The lettuce, herbs or ornamental plants planted in the substrate are always optimally supplied with water, and the nutrients present in the pond serve as natural fertiliser for your plants. An air hose can be installed through an opening for aeration.
Another plus for all pond owners
The trickle filter effect ensures optimum oxygenation of the pond water, ammonia and nitrite are converted and broken down, and the decreasing nitrate and phosphate content reduces algae growth, creating a healthy pond environment.
Your taste decides
The free-standing devices, verde Type 300 and 500, can be individually clad, making it very easy to adapt them to your personal taste and garden environment.
Both filters are prepared ex works so that you can easily add individual cladding. Let your creativity run wild!
Verde also works without a pond
Simply place verde in your garden in the desired location, fill the container with water, install the pump, add substrate, plant – done.
Thanks to the large water supply (approx. 260 litres for verde type 300, approx. 528 litres for verde type 500), you will not need to water your raised bed for several weeks or even months. You can add the fertiliser required for the plants to the water via the practical dosing opening at the top of the filter bed. You don't have electricity where verde is located? No problem, even small solar pumps are sufficient to operate the verde trickle filter bed. All versions
of verde are durable, made in Germany, manufactured from V2A stainless steel and welded at the seams. Your trickle filter raised bed will last a lifetime.
