Extra heavy-duty floor drain with side outlet for retrofitting
This floor drain is designed for retrofitting. The floor drain is placed on the floor. A 110 mm pressure pipe (not included) is used to reach the 90°C bend. To achieve a good flow, the bend must be at least 40 cm below the water surface. From there, the pipe is led to the edge of the pond, where a flange can be used to lead the pipe out of the pond. The floor drain is supplied with a PE base plate and filling for weighting. The floor drain with side outlet is equipped with a 25 mm outlet. This opening must be brought to the surface with a 25 mm pipe or 9 mm air hose to prevent a vacuum. A plug for closing is also included.

Underneath the pond base, liner, GRP or concrete, we always recommend using 110 mm PVC pressure pipes and bonding the pipes with Innotec® Adheseal. This will ensure you never have problems with leaky joints again.
