AquaForte contact adhesive 500ml (polyester spray adhesive)
Very strong contact adhesive for bonding EPDM membranes to various substrates such as wood or masonry.
Bonding all types of substrates. Due to its high solids and rubber content, this adhesive is extremely strong and safe to use. AquaForte polyester fleece spray adhesive is also suitable for bonding substrates that are sensitive to plasticisers, such as PVC. The maximum plasticiser content in PVC must not exceed 16%. Testing prior to use is recommended.

- Spray the membrane and the surface to be bonded with adhesive and bond both surfaces together after a flash-off time of 2-4 minutes

Ensure that the materials to be bonded are dry and free of dust and grease. Shake the can well before use. Then spray the adhesive evenly onto the surfaces to be bonded.
A distance of 30 cm between the substrate and the aerosol is ideal. The adhesive strips should preferably be applied without overlapping. After 2-4 minutes, bond the two surfaces together and press or roll them firmly. If applying overlapping strips, at least double the open time.
If the substrate is very porous, check carefully that there is sufficient contact between the two adhesive layers. Apply an additional layer if necessary. Drying time: at least 2 minutes at 20°C.
