Inspired by Japan and fish farming, a German manufacturer produces these holding nets by hand.
This robust enclosure, with a capacity of approx. 221 litres, is used for the separate keeping and rearing of spawning, hatching and brood fish.
The narrow mesh size of 0.5 mm makes it ideal for use with hatching fish eggs. This means that even eggs or freshly hatched larvae cannot escape through the fine but extremely tear-resistant mesh and are safe from predators. At the same time, the high mesh density ensures that sufficient oxygen can enter the enclosure.
The net has a robust floating frame consisting of KG tubes that can be easily connected together. These ensure that the enclosure is kept permanently above water. At the bottom of the enclosure there is a base frame that keeps the bottom of the enclosure permanently taut. This prevents sagging and ensures that the maximum volume of the net is utilised.
