The Hel-X® H2X36 filter medium offers excellent performance in trickle towers and large biofilters. The medium should be used in a rigid configuration within the biofilter. The high-performance plastic packing provides a large surface area for bacterial colonisation.
The Hel-X® H2X36 filter medium ensures good water quality in your pond whilst delivering the highest possible nitrification performance. The Hel-X® H2X36 filter medium is therefore very well suited for the breakdown of ammonium and nitrite in the final filter chamber (clear water). Furthermore, the Hel-X® H2X36 pond filter material can be used for biological wastewater treatment.
