Japanese oyster shells 5kg
Japanese breeders have been using these oyster shells for years to increase the carbonate hardness in soft water and thus stabilise the pH value.
The quantity offered is packaged in filter media bags, placed in the filter or pond, and is sufficient for a pond volume of approximately 15,000 litres. They increase the carbonate hardness slowly and sustainably in a natural way. These shells have a shelf life of approximately 1 year, after which they must be replaced. For larger ponds, several bags must be added.
