Pond salt has a positive effect on the health of your fish and the life in your pond. It prevents fish diseases.
Caution: If your fish are ill, always consult your fish specialist first. An accurate diagnosis is important for choosing the right treatment! Be careful when using medication. The simultaneous use of pond salt and medication can cause the medication to lose its active ingredients. Pond salt must be removed from your circulation before administering medication.
Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Add 1 kg of salt per 1,000 litres of pond volume. Once a month, replace approx. 20% of the pond water (water change) and add 0.5 kg per 1,000 litres of pond volume.
Treatment of fish diseases:
Use 5 kg of salt per 1,000 litres of pond volume.
As an immersion bath/salt bath for fish diseases:
Add 3 kg of salt per 100 litres of pond water to a container (e.g. inspection tank) and place the fish in this solution for approx. 5 minutes while observing them.
