Protein skimmer for fast and effective skimming of protein compounds and dirt particles from ponds and fish tanks.
Organic compounds are removed from the cycle before decomposition, thus reducing the load on the biological filter. Protein skimmers are used as a supporting filter unit. The skimmer has an air connection. Connect an outlet of your air pump (4 mm) to the air hose and cut off the excess hose. This creates a mixture of water and air bubbles. Each air bubble forms a layer to which the organic substances attach themselves as a thin film. The substances that pollute the water are filtered out.

- Please note that a skimmer should receive purified water.
- If you pump water directly from the pond into the skimmer, it will become dirty very quickly.
- For the air supply, a Schego Optimal or WS 3 air pump is sufficient, or you can use a branch from your pond or filter aeration pump.
- The thick air hose inside the skimmer is connected to the internal Venturi. This must be filled with air. If it is full of water, the water level must be lowered.
- The blue tap that controls the air supply on the outside must be moved within the mark. There is a hole inside that regulates the supply.
