Rubber rings are very stretchy, robust and, with a little practice, seal fish bags very securely.
If you want to transport fish, it is best to do so in fish transport bags. For very short periods (10 minutes), it is sufficient to transport the fish with water in the bag. For longer journeys, you will need to add oxygen to the bag. Use these rubber rings to seal the bags so that they cannot open during transport.
Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
To pack your fish, proceed as follows:
- Place two bags inside each other.
- Fold the ends over several times so that only the opening to the inner bag is accessible.
- Pour a little water into the bag.
- Catch the fish and place the bag in the landing net. There, the fish can be pulled into the bag with a quick movement.
- Make sure that the fish has enough water in the bag. When the bag is flat, the fish should be covered with approx. 3-5 cm of water.
- Lift the bag out of the water and place it in a cardboard box. The box must be sturdy enough and the bottom must be securely sealed.
- Place the bags straight into the cardboard box so that the corners of the bag point towards the corners of the box. Check the water level again.
- Always make sure you hold the bags closed with one hand.
- Now loosen the folds and hold the inner bag closed with your hand, pressing all the air out with your other hand.
- Now add the oxygen to the bag; the bag should be filled with 1/3 water and 2/3 oxygen.
- Now twist the bag closed and fold the end over. Close the end with a thick rubber band as tightly as you can.
- Then close the outer bag tightly and secure it with a rubber band as well.
- Seal the box and transport your fish directly.
Important! Only use transport bags once! Transport water must not be emptied into the pond!
