Air pressure gauge for checking the function of your air pump. With this air pressure gauge, you can check whether your air pump is overloaded or correctly connected.
You can use this air pressure gauge to check your air pump. Simply install this air pressure gauge in your air pump line. Every standard air pump builds up a counterpressure of up to approx. 300 mbar.
If the air pressure gauge goes into the red zone, one of the following faults may be present:
Your air pump should never have to operate in the red zone. Doing so will cause your air pump to malfunction over time.
If the air pressure gauge goes into the red zone, one of the following faults may be present:
- The air pump is defective.
- A membrane in the air pump is defective.
- You have connected an air hose that is too small (4 mm). Increase the diameter of your air hose (9 or 16 mm).
- You have connected too few diffusers to your air distribution system. Connect more or larger diffusers so that the pump does not have as much back pressure.
Your air pump should never have to operate in the red zone. Doing so will cause your air pump to malfunction over time.
