These filters are suitable for small to medium-sized ponds with low fish stocks and feature an integrated 2-pin UVC (36/18 watt) lamp. The BF 25000 is designed for small ponds up to 6,000 litres, while the BF 45000 is suitable for ponds up to 10,000 litres with low fish stocks. The UV lamp ensures clear water. These models impress with their robust construction. The filters are equipped with one (BF 25000) or two (BF 45000) foam chambers.
Upgrade the filters biologically by filling the hollow space in the foam with Nana Taro B.B. Roll (8 pieces per chamber) or Siporax (5 litres per chamber). The UV lamp is built into the lid. The lamp can be replaced by removing the lid. The function of the lamp can be checked with the aid of a viewing window.
This filter offers one (BF 25000) or two (BF 45000) separate dirt drains (1 1/2" external thread).

These filters have a 32 mm hose connection. If you want to connect a 25 mm hose, order a 25/32 x 1" adapter nipple. This is screwed in and you can glue in a 25 mm hose nozzle.
Our recommendation: If you want to connect a 40 mm hose, screw in the 25/32 x 1" adapter nipple and glue a 40 x 50 x 32 mm reduction sleeve onto it. Then glue a 40 mm hose nozzle onto it.
We offer a dirty water piping set for the BF 45000. This consists of two couplings that are screwed onto the filter. Both pipes are connected to each other and lead to a 50 mm ball valve. From there, you can continue with a 50 mm pressure pipe or with fittings to any hose size. The set can be connected in both directions.
