Sludge degradation bacteria
These bacteria help your pond to naturally break down deposits such as sludge and organic waste.

Residues of faeces, food and organic waste do not belong in the pond. We have had these sludge-degrading bacteria produced for Koi Company. They support the biological balance and ensure that sludge and organic residues are broken down, even in hard-to-reach areas.
Tests have also shown that this product contains a large number and variety of bacteria. As with Koi Company filter bacteria, you get a top product at a very good price-performance ratio.
Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Add the bacteria directly to the pond. The initial dosage for the first month is 1 litre per 10,000 litres of pond volume per week. The subsequent dosage is 1 litre per 10,000 litres of pond volume per month. Switch off UV and ozone systems for 24 hours after adding the bacteria.
When using in ponds with sturgeon, please ensure sufficient aeration, as the oxygen content decreases immediately after adding filter bacteria due to the bacteria's activity.
Suitable for water temperatures above 12°C. The sludge-degrading bacteria help you break down organic matter. The end degradation product must be filtered out mechanically.
The somewhat "strong" smell of the bacteria is due to their freshness and activity.
Be careful with sturgeons in the pond! Even the smallest changes in the water can alter your water parameters and oxygen levels so significantly that it can harm the sturgeon.
