Zeolite can absorb large quantities of organic nitrogen and has the ability to break down toxic ammonium through ion exchange.
It can be used in all filter systems and also improves the hardness of the water. Toxins and heavy metals are bound. Once the absorption capacity of zeolite is exhausted, it can be regenerated with a 5% saline solution (50 g salt per litre of water). We recommend placing zeolite in a filter media bag. Can also be used as a cover for Aquaclay and BioBeads.
