Filter bacteria in an agar granule coating. This allows you to measure out your filter bacteria precisely, and they dissolve very slowly, gradually releasing bacteria into the pond over a longer period of time.
These filter balls consist of agar granules filled with Koi Company filter bacteria. All components are soaked in a so-called "microorganism soup" until the balls have reached their full size. An oxygen supply keeps the microorganisms alive for a long time.

Add the bacteria to your pond or filter after cleaning, medicating and in spring.
The filter balls contain nitrifying bacteria in a concentration of 5 x 10⁷ (colony-forming units) and are non-toxic to humans and animals. Once added, they start working immediately and ensure an optimal biological balance.
Research conducted by the University of Giessen has shown that the filter bacteria from Koi Company contain a very large number of nitrifying bacteria and a wide variety of strains. You get a top product at a fantastic price-performance ratio.

The filter balls/bubbles are placed directly in the filter and gradually release the filter bacteria into the water until the balls have completely dissolved. The balls allow for optimal dosing and are best used in the filter. In Helix chambers in particular, the balls float along and gradually release their contents. In multi-chamber filters, place them in the penultimate chamber. This allows them to adhere to the material and develop their full potential. Ensure good ventilation after application. In bead filters, place them under the pre-filter screen.
Of course, you can also add the balls to the pond, but you must ensure that the fish do not mistake them for food. However, they are not toxic to fish.
Application:
Every 10 days, add approx. 70 filter balls/bubbles per 10,000 litres to your pond or filter. Add the balls after cleaning the filter or place them in a protected area in your pond.
1000 ml now contains over 300 bubbles. We have been able to increase the strength of the balls, which means they can be stored for longer. Apply the viscous bacteria directly to the filter material. In a multi-chamber filter, add to the penultimate chamber. This allows them to adhere to the material and develop optimally. Ensure good ventilation after application. In a bead filter, add under the pre-filter screen.
Switch off UV and ozone systems for 24 hours after adding the bacteria.
When using in ponds with sturgeon, please ensure adequate ventilation, as the oxygen content decreases immediately after the filter bacteria are added due to the immediate activity of the bacteria.
